FarmVille collectables can be really confusing to some FarmVille players.

What do the FarmVille collectibles have to do with building and expanding your farm? That is the main source of the confusion.

So what are FarmVille collectibles anyway?

Basically, farmers can receive rewards and complete a task by obtaining these collectibles. The farmers are always looking for items in a collection. There is a hint or a clue as to where to find every item in the FarmVille collections.

Some hints are harder than others and some are fairly easy. A farmer requires a variety of items to find the collectibles unlike some other "achievement awards" in FarmVille.

Think of it like a treasure hunt. You can get these items through Recent News postings on Facebook, or you can receive them as gifts. You can even find them while you are doing your regular farming tasks.

The most common questions asked about the FarmVille collectibles are how do you find them, and what is the advantage if any?

In this article I will show you how to find and use these FarmVille collectibles. There are three different kinds of collection: Common, Uncommon and Rare

Your FarmVille friends will love you if you find a rare or uncommon item as you are able to share it with 5 of them! Once you have a full collection you have the option to exchange it for either 250 experience points, 5 tanks of fuel or 5000 coins. Then you can share your collection with your friends or neighbors. They will get a random item from the collection you completed.

After you have completed a collection, you will receive the "Cunning Collector" ribbon. There is no limit, you can collect and turn in a collection as many times as you want. Just as a reminder though, you can only hold 10 of a single item.

To find out what collectibles you've earned, open the achievements menu and go to the Blue Ribbon icon on your farm home page, left click it, and you will find a menu above the blue ribbon named "collections".

People are always searching for FarmVille collection hints. Don't go crazy listening to all the advice you get or all the suggestions you hear!

If you move your mouse over each picture of each collectible, you will see a hint or clue as to where the collectable may be found on the farm. That is the best way to do it.

Collection Hints

Hints can be found by doing these normal farm chores:

• Gifting

• Plowing

• Harvesting Trees

• Fertilzing

• Harvesting Animals (Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Geese, Sheep)

Here are a few specific hints you may encounter while farming:

1. If you see the hint that says you need help from your friends, get the item as a gift from a friend.

2. If you see the hint that you must get dirty, you need to start plowing your farm.

3. If you see the hint look up, start harvesting trees.
